Door-to-door fundraising

We currently have no door-to-door fundraising activity running.

What is door-to-door fundraising?

Each year we run a door-to-door fundraising campaign. Our fundraisers call at homes across England and Wales, giving people the chance to find out about our work and become a regular supporter.

This campaign has proved to be an essential source of much-needed funds. We've also discovered that our door-to-door campaign brings us new supporters who we might not have had the opportunity to reach in other ways.

Your donation doesn't have to be much - someone who regularly supports us with a direct debit will make a significant difference over several years.

If you do sign up for a regular gift and are a UK taxpayer, did you know that you can increase its value by almost a quarter simply by signing a Gift Aid declaration? By making your gift tax-efficient through Gift Aid, you'll turn every £1 you give into £1.25 for us.

So if one of our fundraisers calls at your door, please be friendly!

How can I identify a genuine fundraiser?

All our door-to-door fundraisers are smartly dressed and wear a blue tabard with the RSPCA logo printed in white on the front. They also wear ID badges displaying their unique fundraiser ID number, a photo of themselves and a letter of authorisation from us.

Operating hours

Our door-to-door fundraising is undertaken Monday to Saturday from 9am to 8.30pm and Sundays and standard public holidays from 10am to 8.30pm. Fundraising can only take place between 8.30pm to 9.00pm if there is a prior appointment.

How to make a complaint

We insist that all our door-to-door fundraisers follow the strict code of conduct laid down by the Fundraising Regulator.

In the unlikely event that one of our fundraisers does not conduct themselves professionally, please contact our Supporter Services Team to make a complaint, including full details of the complaint with the address, date, time and fundraiser's name, ID and details of their appearance if available:
