How Peanut came in from the cold

Peanut was abandoned by a roadside to die alone. She was so skinny and scared, we didn't think she'd make it. But with expert care and endless love, this brave dog recovered and learned to trust again. Today, she's happy in a home of her own.

School staff rescue trapped hedgehog

Teachers at Carr Mill Primary School found a hedgehog stuck in a storm drain and called the RSPCA. An Animal Rescue Officer arrived to free the trapped hedgehog, leaving both the children and staff thrilled by the successful wildlife rescue.

Hedgehog recovers after strimmer injury

When wildlife lover Claire spotted a hedgehog with a strimmer injury in her garden, she knew she had to help. Thanks to RSPCA care, the hedgehog made a full recovery and later returned to Claire’s garden with a friend.

How we define success

  • We change lives - by rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming and releasing animals
  • We change minds - through expert education, fundraising and volunteering
  • We change laws and industries - by lobbying Government and business on animal welfare
