Your Summer Sponsorship Update

Your Sponsorship gives cats like Ruby every kind of care, from vet treatment to the patience they need to rebuild trust, so they can heal and get ready for their next adventure.

One call becomes a race to save hundreds

When we receive a report of mass animal suffering, RSPCA inspectors, vets, centre staff and volunteers all move at once, because every minute counts.

Recently, one call led our rescue teams to a site where hundreds of animals – including cats, dogs, small furries and farm animals – were living in horrific conditions. Rescuing them was only the start – months of veterinary care and love followed.

Responding to a call like this takes an entire community of animal lovers, and you are a vital part of that. When rescued cats, like the one pictured, arrive at our centres, it’s your Sponsorship that provides everything they need to recover.

Did you know?

Cats sweat through their paw pads, so you may spot damp little pawprints on a warm day! They also groom themselves to remove excess fur and stay cool.
