Read our special appeals, view horses and ponies available for adoption and find a pet!
Every year we rehome around 70,000 animals - they may be unwanted pets that have been callously dumped or victims of cruelty.
If you're looking for a new pet, why not consider offering a home to one of them? In return for offering them a second chance at life, you'll get a great companion.
What to expect
You can use these pages to look at some of the animals looking for homes and to find your nearest RSPCA.
The adoption procedure can vary between RSPCA animal centres and branches. The best thing to do is to visit your local centre or branch, and staff there will talk you through the process and help you meet your ideal pet.
RSPCA Pet adoption guide
Our useful Pet adoption guide gives lots of reasons as to why you should adopt an animal from the RSPCA, plus lots of helpful advice as to which pet may be right for you. Download a copy here or at the bottom of the page.
Alternatively, we can send you a copy of the guide in the post by using our online Enquiry service, or by calling our dedicated Pet adoption line: 0300 123 8484.
[To use our Enquiry service you will first need to log-in or register as a user of My RSPCA.]
So if you're thinking of getting a pet - think RSPCA!
The RSPCA receives no government funding.
Please help us to continue our life-saving work by making a regular or one-off donation online now. Or you can donate over the phone on 0300 123 0346.
