Could you imagine a world without the RSPCA?

The RSPCA only exists because of public donations and it’s a little known fact that over half of our income comes from people leaving gifts in their will. If gifts left to us in wills were to stop coming then the future of the RSPCA would be very uncertain indeed.

It’s a common myth that you have to be wealthy to leave a gift in your will, but nothing could be further from the truth. After taking care of family and friends, you’ll be amazed at what one final gift, no matter how big or small, can do.

Remember a Charity Week

That’s why we are taking part in Remember a Charity Week, from 12 to 18 September, to help raise awareness of the importance of gifts left in wills.

Whatever the amount we’re extremely grateful for any gift that’s been left to us, as it will help us to continue to help the huge number and variety of animals, in the many ways that we do.

It’s very simple to leave a gift in your will, just ask any professional will provider who will show you how or visit the website addresses below for some helpful information.

Of course we don’t expect you to write or update your will right now. Instead, we only ask that you don’t forget. So this week please keep it in your mind, discuss the subject with your family and friends and then maybe, when the time comes, you’ll consider including us in your will and help our work live on.
