Sally Hyman

Sally has had a lifelong love for animals, and shares her home with her cat, Meg, who was rescued as an orphaned kitten. Too small to stay in an animal centre and needing feeds every two hours, Meg was fostered by Sally- and never left.

As a former Comprehensive School Headteacher, and Society Trustee, Sally brings extensive leadership experience and a strong background in zoology with extensive expertise in animal welfare, supported by an M.Sc in Management.

Specialising in income generation, strategic transformation, and governance, she has secured over £3 million of grants, led digital innovation across sectors, and successfully turned around a financially struggling branch.

Sally has been awarded the RSPCA Queen Victoria Gold Medal for her significant contribution to the RSPCA and an MBE in recognition of her contribution to animal welfare. Sally continues this commitment at home where she has a wildlife garden and helps local hedgehogs, foxes and frogs.
