Why some cats and dogs wait longer

Some cats and dogs need more time than others to find homes. This might be because they need specialist care, have specific requirements, or are part of ongoing prosecution cases where rehoming isn’t possible until legal proceedings are concluded. Others, like Tommy and Venus, are ready and have so much love to give – they just haven’t met their special people yet.
