Your Sponsorship helped Jasper recover, find his confidence and discover a love of tennis balls. Now this fun-loving dog is ready for life’s next adventure – his forever home!
A long road to recovery
When Jasper arrived at RSPCA West Hatch Animal Centre, he was in a very poor way. Critically underweight and unwell, he was quiet and shut down – a young dog with so much potential, but barely the strength to show it.
Your Sponsorship meant he had expert vets and a dedicated team around him from day one, giving him every kind of care he needed to recover. He was in the right place.
The weeks that followed weren’t easy. But with the right nutrition, veterinary treatment and round-the-clock attention, Jasper gradually began to find his feet.
And as his strength returned, something amazing started to happen.

Ready for his next adventure
As Jasper’s strength returned, his larger-than-life personality emerged. He started enjoying off-lead runs and discovered a new passion – searching for tennis balls and burying them!
Your kindness funded the specialist behaviour support that helped him get there too. When Jasper first arrived, he would jump up and grab at his handlers. He was so overwhelmed, he didn’t know how to contain himself. With patient, consistent work, that all changed. Now he’s calm, settled and confident in his routines.
