A rescue made possible by you
The call that started Chester’s rescue
Chester was just three months old when we first heard about him. His owner had found him hurt and cowering in the kitchen, with injuries that didn’t make sense, and rushed him to the vets. Realising Chester was in immense pain, the local vet immediately contacted us, worried that the tiny kitten might not survive the night if his circumstances didn’t change.
Thanks to your regular gift
Because you joined the rescue, we could take Chester into our care. We gave him the ongoing treatment, medication and pain relief he needed to rest, feel safe, and begin to heal.
Chester’s now a happy cat that can go on to have an amazing life.
The next chapter in Chester’s story
The road to recovery
Chester spent months recovering in foster care through one of our branches, where he received the dedicated, round-the-clock care he needed.
While Chester recovered, we learned his owner had been through a difficult and frightening time herself. Once it was safe, Chester was reunited with her – and they’re both doing much better now.
Life now, thanks to you
Today, he’s thriving – confident and playful. He shares his home with feline friends Ronnie, Bean and Toast.
Chester has the future he deserves today, all because you’re part of our team. Thank you for joining the rescue.

Cats’ whiskers are roughly as wide as their bodies. They help them navigate their environment and judge whether they can fit through narrow spaces.
