Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre & Cattery
About us
The cattery is part of our Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre & Cattery establishment situated south of Nantwich in Cheshire, and is within easy reach of the M6 at junction 16.
The cattery is licensed to hold 64 cats, which are housed in three main areas within the cattery. The cats are received and assessed by staff and vets to their suitability for re-homing.
The cattery has a public area where the cats can be viewed by members of the public, an admissions area where initial reviews are made and an isolation area where cats can be isolated for veterinary purposes. The main public area has 24 cat pods and adjoining external runs that provide temporary homes for our cats.
Adoption
Interested in adopting a cat from us? Please consider the costs of taking on a cat or kitten before contacting us. Find out all about cats in our cat pet care section.
As the well known saying goes ‘A cat is for life not for Christmas’ so please consider all food and veterinary costs.
Prior to adopting all our cats are neutered, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. We also microchip your cat which is highly recommended. If requested we can also test the cat for FIV and FeLV. Our adoption fee is ‘great value for money’ if you consider the potential veterinary costs for the above treatments.
All our cats need loving homes but our staff are committed to finding the right cat for you, one that will match your lifestyle and meet the requirements of each rehomed cat. The process will involve a home visit by a registered/trained home visitor.
Cattery Shop
We operate a small shop in the centre. You can get everything you need for your new feline friend from food and litter to toys and tikklers. All proceeds are put back into the running of the cattery, so your purchases really do count.
Opening Hours
We are open from 11:30 – 3:30 Tuesday to Sunday. No appointment is necessary, please just call in.
