Newport Animal Centre

About us

Newport Animal Centre © RSPCA

The RSPCA Newport Animal Centre is in the City of Newport, South Wales, and within easy reach of the M4 at junction 24.

What we do

Here at Newport most of the animals have been rescued from neglect and bad treatment by their previous owners. When they come to us they are often nervous of strangers. We spend weeks, sometimes months, looking after them preparing them for a new life and a second chance.

We look after cats, dogs, rabbits and other domestic animals - at any one time we are caring for over 100 animals.

All our animals are looking for someone to offer them a new home, to be a friend and look after them. In return a pet will offer fun, friendship and loyalty.

It costs the RSPCA around £1,000 a day to run Newport Animal Centre. We rely entirely on kind donations from people like you.

If you would like to support us, or you have room in your home and in your heart to take on a rescue animal, please pay us a visit. We look forward to seeing you.
