Our special appeals feature some of the horses and ponies in our care who are looking for a particular type of new home.
As horses take a long time to be rehabilitated, some of these horses and ponies may have spent some time in RSPCA care.
Dotted about the country, there are horses looking for companion homes, where there is the knowledge and understanding to care for them through the second half of their lives.
Give them plenty of feed and a roof over their heads in the winter and they will repay your care by keeping a busy working horse company, anchoring a dippy youngster, or simply sharing your troubles after a hard day's work.
Lizzie (pictured above) and Lady (pictured left) are 15-year-old cob mares.
They have had busy lives as brood mares and would like to enjoy a peaceful retirement. Lizzie is 14.2hh and Lady is 13.2hh.
Hanoi (pictured right) and Frankie (pictured below) are breedy ladies and both are over 16hh.
They are also teenagers who have had a period of malnutrition.
They are on the up now and they need homes where they are cared for and appreciated.
The list continues. Clover is in Kent. Taz is in London, and Chance is in Shropshire.
If you have space for any of these lovely horses, please download our Horse and pony application form (PDF 62.9KB) and return it to us today.
