Performing animals

We've produced free RSPCA Guidelines for the Welfare of Performing Animals. These contain general advice on good welfare practice based on meeting the needs of animals.  The guidelines were written in accordance with legislation in force in England and Wales but can be applied as good practice elsewhere.

We also offer advice on a consultancy basis tailored to specific productions, including script review, animal welfare risk assessments, ongoing advice including on-set attendance and production accreditation.

To get a copy of our guidelines or to find out more about the Performing Animals Consultancy, please visit the Performing Animals website.
