Pasha
Pasha has found a forever home with her new owner Annabell. They live happily together on a farm with free range chickens, geese, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters and a pony.
Annabell and her family had decided to get a dog, and thought it would be great if they could offer one of the dogs in our care a second chance in life.
One evening, the whole family gathered around a computer and started to look at the dogs on our website. After scrolling through a few pages they soon noticed the numbers of Staffordshire bull terriers needing loving new homes.
The family’s hearts went out to them, but they were concerned by the bad press they had heard. They needed to know more about Staffies and decided to do their research to see if a Staffie would be suitable for them. “As it turned out they were perfect,” said Annabell.
They chose Pasha and as soon as she arrived in her new home they knew she was a brilliant dog. In fact Annabell was so pleased with the new addition to her family, she contacted us almost immediately. Here's what she had to say:
Despite all the bad press about Staffies, Pasha is extremely affectionate and very obedient. She’s not aggressive towards dogs or cats, she practically ignores them. She walks well on the lead and loves going for loads of walks, as well as having a lot of hugs.
We couldn’t have asked for a better dog and people should definitely consider having a Staffie as they are wonderful dogs.
Thank you to the RSPCA for being so helpful and thank you to Pasha for showing us that Staffies aren’t all teeth and growling, but more licking and waggy tails.
We’re so pleased that Annabell and her family were able to see past the reputation that Staffies have and find their perfect pet.
