Five year old Milky Way loves to be fussed and groomed.

Milky Way came into the care of our Blackberry Farm Animal Centre with bite injuries from another cat.

Despite our best efforts we couldn’t trace his previous owners as he wasn’t microchipped, so Milky Way joined the many other cats in the centre looking for new homes.

However, he wasn’t so keen on life in the cattery and began to lose his hair through stress. We urgently needed to find him a home for Christmas and featured him on our special appeals.

The best Christmas present

Milky Way has now had the best Christmas present ever – a home to call his own. And as you can see from the picture he’s settled in brilliantly!

The animals which appear in our special appeals are often overlooked through no fault of their own. Could you give an animal a second chance in life?
