Rehoming successes
There is nothing quite like the feeling we get from successfully rehoming an animal.
Especially when so many of the ones we see have been abandoned, abused or neglected. We carefully match each pet to the right new owner, so that each animal is a rehoming success.
It's great to think we have helped make a difference to an animal's life. Here are just some of our success stories.
-
Buster and Bailey
Buster and Bailey came into our care after a change in their previous owner's circumstances. The pair were struggling to find a home together.
-
Rover
Rover's owners had failed to provide him with proper veterinary care, leaving this elderly dog to suffer unnecessarily.
-
Midnight
Midnight was twice the size of a normal cat when he was abandoned at one of our animal centres.
-
Gyp
A dog who was left for dead is now enjoying a fantastic new life with loving new owners, thanks to the efforts of a local vet, RSPCA staff and a dog called Clipper.
-
Nudger
Nudger's previous life as a stray had lead to health problems that he will never fully recover from, Nudger needed a special new owner who would understand this.
-
Primrose and Dudley
Primrose and Dudley have both found their perfect home with a volunteer cat socialiser who travelled 270 miles just to meet them.
-
Max
Six-year-old Patterdale terrier Max had a terrible start to his life. He was cruelly beaten and suffered from a severe infection in both ears, which was left untreated.
-
Bandit
Five-year-old Bandit was abandoned in West Yorkshire. He was taken in by our West Suffolk Branch and staff set about finding him a new home.
-
Yani
Staffie Yani came into our care with stab wounds, who knows what else had happened to her. Now Yani has a fantastic home with owners who love her.
-
Happy ending for suitcase puppies
Nine of the dogs and puppies that were left to die in suitcases had a joyful reunion at our Brighton Animal Centre.
