Being an equine foster carer

Our equine fosterer carers provide a stable future for rescue horses and ponies.

Horses are social animals who have a strong need to have the company of other horses. Fostering a horse from us can provide a companion for your own horse.

And, fostering a horse from us means that our equine centres are able to help another horse in need of rescue. Read the real life case studies below which show just how fantastic fostering a horse can be.

Cheryl, a sheep and cattle farmer, fostered two youngsters to help her solve a practical problem. She now loves their curiosity.

Clare fostered Charmer to keep her young horse company. She's delighted with the effect having a friend like Charmer has had.
