How can you help?

Look for the label...

...If you eat lamb or other animal products and are concerned about animal welfare, please look out for the products carrying the Freedom Food logo. Sheep on Freedom Food-accredited farms are inspected according to the RSPCA welfare standards for sheep.

Put pen to paper...

...You can also help by writing, in your own words, to your local MP, and to:

The Rt Hon Caroline Spelman MP
Secretary of State for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs
Department of Environment, Food & Rural Affairs
Nobel House
17 Smith Square
LONDON SW1P 3JR.

Please raise some of the key sheep welfare issues and urge them to do what they can to improve sheep welfare.

Confront a woolly issue with retailers...

...Next time you are shopping for products containing wool, please also consider asking the retailer about the welfare of the sheep the wool has come from. Has it been sourced from Australian Merino sheep that might have been mulesed? If so, what is the retailer doing to help solve this welfare issue?
