Turkeys

Around 19 million turkeys are reared in the UK for meat each year, and around 10 million of those are eaten at Christmas time. We are concerned that the way in which many of these birds are reared, handled, transported and slaughtered/killed could be greatly improved.

We’re working in many different ways to try to ensure that as many farmed turkeys as possible have a good quality of life.
