Farmed fish
There is growing scientific evidence that fish feel pain and suffer. According to the UN Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO), there is growing demand for farmed fish across the world, because many wild-caught sources of fish are running out. We believe that we should therefore be doing everything we can to ensure that all farmed fish are reared to high standards of animal welfare and transported and slaughtered humanely.
We’re working in a number of different ways to try to improve the lives of as many farmed fish as possible.
