Low-cost veterinary treatment at Putney Animal Hospital
If you would like your animals to receive low-cost veterinary treatment at the Putney Animal Hospital you will need to be able to prove that:
You live within the hospital catchment area
and
either you are receiving a state benefit accepted by the hospital or your household is on a low income.
It is very important that you take evidence of the state benefit you are receiving or that you are on a low income, as well as proof of your identity and address, every time you visit the hospital. Failure to show these details may mean that the hospital is unable to provide treatment for your animal.
Proof of identity and address can be in the form of passport, driving licence or a utility bill (such as gas, electric or water) which must have your name and address on it.
Please note that the RSPCA provides a reduced cost veterinary service. You will be asked to pay in full, on the day of treatment, for services and goods provided by the hospital.

'Proof of eligibilty' card
All clients will be issued with a ‘proof of eligibility’ card. This card replaces the need for clients to bring their proof of ID, address and income every visit.
In order to be issued with a card the client MUST produce proof of their ID, address and income.
The card is valid for 6 months at which point the card can be renewed, however the same paperwork must be produced for the card to be renewed. A valid proof of eligibility card must be produced on each visit.
Please see an example of the 'proof of eligibilty' card below:
