We’re best known for our frontline work – carried out by hard-working inspectors, animal welfare officers (AWOs), veterinary staff and animal care assistants. They face daily challenges working with animals and members of the public.

Behind the scenes

Our national office is a hive of activity. It’s where our animal welfare scientists, press officers, campaigners, fundraisers, chief executive and many others all work together to support our mission.
