Jaffa was left to live in squalor

Jaffa was living in filthy conditions. Thanks to our supporters, we reached her in time. But animals are still suffering. Will you save them from neglect?

A born adventurer

Now Jaffa has everything a cat could want. A cosy sofa she can nap on, and an exciting garden to explore. But Jaffa’s life was once very different. When we received a call from a worried member of the public, we went to investigate. Our rescuers found Jaffa, three other cats and a dog, living in squalour.

The animals were surrounded by filth and mess. We found rotting food and poo everywhere. The smell was eyewatering. This wasn’t a safe environment for animals or humans. We visited but things didn't improve, so the animals were seized by police and passed into our care.

Care for neglected cats

Jaffa was underweight and covered in fleas. Once we treated her, she was fostered by Georgia Billam – a rehoming coordinator at an RSPCA branch – along with her brother Fin.

Since then, Jaffa and Fin have found their forever home. But animals are still facing neglect this winter. Will you help them?

Jaffa is bright and active, and loves exploring. Together with her brother Fin, she lives in a safe, cosy home.

Jaffa and Fin were adopted together, and have settled into their clean, comfortable home.

“Jaffa loves exploring outside,” says her owner Catherine. “She has a cat flap, so she can come and go as she likes.”

And after she’s done exploring, Jaffa settles down with her brother for a nap every evening.

“The pair of them cheer us up so much,” says Michael.

Today, Jaffa and Fin have found the home they deserve. But many desperate animals are still stuck in squalour. We’re working tirelessly to reach them in time, but we can’t do it alone. By giving back this winter, you’ll be giving neglected animals a second chance.
