Floss is such a friendly girl
Floss has always loved people. When a member of the public called us, our rescuers went to check on her at home. Floss greeted them at the door, wagging her tail. Her excitement was heartrending, given the circumstances.
Floss was dangerously thin. She was so badly flea bitten that her bedding was bloody. The floors were covered in rubbish and poo. Our rescuers rushed Floss to the nearest vet who found she was anaemic and dehydrated. They hurried to get fluids into her, before it was too late.

Floss was thin and so infested with fleas. But she was still so friendly.
Save animals from neglect
One of the vets at the practice, Shannon, felt such a deep connection with Floss that she fostered, and later adopted her.
Floss is now her friendly, active self, because someone chose to stand up to neglect. But animals are still suffering out of sight. Will you help them by donating this winter?

before
We found Floss living in filthy conditions. She was dangerously thin, frightened, and covered in fleas.

after
Now she’s healthy and well, Floss is such an active dog. If she gets anxious, her owner’s are there to reassure her.
The life she deserves
Today, Floss is loved at last. “From day one, she was so happy to be near us,” says Shannon. “She wanted constant fuss!”
Floss’s frightening start left her with separation anxiety. She’s come a long way, but she sleeps in Shannon’s room for extra comfort.
Floss gets along with everyone she meets, including Shannon's family and her canine friends at doggy daycare.
Today, Floss is living the life she deserves. But animals are still suffering. We’re working tirelessly to reach them in time, but we can’t do it alone. By giving back this winter, you’ll be giving neglected animals a second chance.
