The Big Give Back to Animals

Animals give us so much and ask for so little in return. But so many are facing abandonment and neglect right now. You have the power to save lives this winter.

Together, we can make 2025 a year of hope and healing for animals in
desperate need

The new year should bring hope, but far too many animals are left abandoned and neglected. We’re calling on everyone who believes that no animal should be left to suffer, to join the winter rescue.

Reports of abandonment and neglect are at a five-year high*

Animals bring us joy, comfort and love. It’s hard to imagine giving them anything other than kindness in return. But reports of abandonment and neglect have been rising*. Animals like Floss are depending on us for survival this winter. Animals who are suffering, starving and in need of urgent care.

We step in where no one else can, rescuing animals from danger, providing urgent care and showing them kindness, until they’re ready to be rehomed. They depend on us to survive – and we depend on you.

Will you give back to animals this Christmas? Donate today to give suffering animals a second chance. You have the power to help animals like Floss spend this Christmas safe, loved and free from fear.

Meet some of the animals who got a second chance from friendly Floss, who has somewhere safe to sleep at last, to brave Boris, who loves watching Pointless!

Boris was suffering from infected injuries when we rescued him. Thanks to your support, we were able to get him treatment in time.

When we rescued Lola, she was covered in scabs and in such discomfort that she hardly lifted her head. You helped her heal, and now she’s full of life.

Together, let’s build kinder futures for animals

Rescue efforts, veterinary care, specialist behavioural training, and everyday care – it’s all possible thanks to the support of our donors. When you donate, you become a vital part of our mission and help us save thousands of animals in need. Every pound and penny you give goes towards creating a better world for every animal.

From cruelty to care – the journey you help make possible

In our animal centres and local branches, our dedicated staff care for abandoned and neglected animals until they’re ready to find forever homes. From vet treatment to socialisation, we help animals at every stage. And that’s only possible because of people like you.

  • 1 You get abandoned and neglected animals to safety, where we can give them urgent treatment
  • 2 You create positive, hands-on moments with gentle humans
  • 3 You cover the cost of the nutritious meals and expert care they need to thrive
  • 4 You help us match them with their perfect owner
