For every £1 donated, 80p will go directly to rescuing and caring for vulnerable animals, then rehoming or releasing them. This helps abandoned or neglected pets get the treatment and love they deserve. It helps injured or orphaned wildlife in need.
The next 19p from each £1 goes towards fundraising. Last year, we received over 900,000 calls to our help line. Without the funds gained through our marketing, we would not be able to finance our crucial work.
The remaining 1p from each £1 goes towards governance. This will support our board members as they create campaigns and push for governance change. At home or abroad, our prevention campaigns are essential for improving the safety and happiness of animals.

Right now, too many animals are being abandoned without food or water, left to suffer in pain. Every 10 minutes we get another call about an abandoned animal*. We never gave up on Nova
It’s a miracle Nova survived. When Animal Rescue Officer John Woods first set eyes on her, she was a thin puppy, lying on a dirty bed on the kitchen floor: cold, limp and barely breathing.
He rushed Nova to a vet, who placed her on heat pads and gave her vital fluids. She needed round-the-clock care but, to our relief, she began to lift her head. A few days later she was standing and wagging her tail.
Since our West Norfolk Branch found her a home, every day is an adventure for Nova. She’s seen snow for the first time and loves running with her best dog friend, Skye, at the beach. She’s thriving, gaining strength, and building her confidence every day.
Dante and Beatrice
This brother and sister duo are inseparable; they love snuggling up together. They’re unrecognisable from the kittens we rescued. Their eyes were crusted shut with infection and they were infested with fleas.
A gentle Malinois, Fendi
Fendi loves following her nose everywhere – chasing leaves in the garden and exploring any available handbags. But we found her chained in a filthy shed, dangerously thin and with an open, infected wound.
