Injured. Scared. Suffering.

When a concerned witness called us for help, Chester was clearly in pain with facial bruising, an injured eye and difficulty moving. Only a little kitten at the time, he had been hurt on purpose. “I thought he’d been sedated when I first saw him, he was so quiet," said an RSPCA branch staff member.

Chester needed immediate pain relief, and it looked like he might not survive the night. With love and expert care he made a full recovery. But right now, more animals still urgently need our help. We can’t do it without support from people like you.

Please help rescue more animals like Chester, with a monthly gift of £3.

Reports of animal cruelty are at a five-year high*

For the animals facing the worst acts of cruelty, the RSPCA is one of the only organisations that can step in. You can help make sure we’re there for more cats like Chester. Your support could help us rescue the next frightened and suffering animal from cruelty.
