About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Tabby
Age: 14 Years (approx)
Ref: 195926

Toffee and Simba are a handsome pair of mature cats who are looking forward to a fresh start, leaving their sad and unsettled pasts behind them.

They were 2 of a total of 70 cats that were rescued from living in unsuitable conditions back in 2019 and have been in our care since. During this time legal proceedings have taken place and after a long wait they are now finally ready to find a loving home together. Their previous owner has since been banned from keeping animals for life.

Due to their previous living conditions, they have had limited socialisation and human interaction and so are nervous around people they are unfamiliar with and are easily worried by noises and sudden movements, Toffee more so than Simba. For this reason, we feel that they would benefit from a calm home environment to help them settle, with a loving and patient owner who they can learn to trust. Initially having their own room would help them feel secure, with hidey beds they could snuggle up in and a climber they might like to explore if they are feeling adventurous.

Toffee and Simba have so much potential , they just need to find a special person to see it, and who is kind enough to give them the opportunity to enjoy their retirement, and love, that they have sadly missed out on. Once they are relaxed in your company they both have sweet temperaments and are the best of friends.

If you feel you could give these chaps a home (either adoption or foster) and you meet all of the rehoming criteria, please complete this form Online Application Form.
