Sugar is a lovely and affectionate cat that loves a fuss once she gets to know you, until then she will have very limited interaction/fuss and will let you know when she has had enough! 

Sugar's history from her previous home is that she was not getting on with the other 2 cats in the house and was also very unhappy about not being allowed outside at a new property where as she used to enjoy exploring a garden before. She also was reported as not being happy at the vets! This is something we have experienced too! Although Sugar isn't happy with vet proceedures she is still manageable and we have successfully vaccinated her and given routine flea/worm treatments :-).

Cats can often take many weeks, sometimes months to adjust to a new life with new surroundings and new people. It has taken Sugar 2 months to fully relax and trust the RSPCA cattery staff & volunteers and now everyone loves her - she gives the best flying head bumps! We can’t emphasise enough the importance of patience and letting Sugar settle in her own time in a new home.

We so hope this wonderful girl finds a loving, patient home (with a garden!) that will give her a chance of a new, happy and stress free life as the one and only queen feline!

Due to high demand for rescue cats, if after 7 days you have not heard from us then on this occasion you have not been successful. 
If you are successful we will contact you via email.

Cat viewings can be done via zoom video call or in person depending on how local adopters are to us.

Cat Adoption Fee £150 per cat/kitten - This includes neutering, microchipping and vaccinations.
