BRENT KNOLL ANIMAL CENTRE - Rehoming Process

Step 1 - View animals on our website.

Step 2 - Complete a Google Perfect Match application form.

Click here for our RABBIT Adoption Application Form

Step 3 - If you are a successful applicant, you will receive an email from the Brent Knoll Animal Centre and the application process will be completed mainly via phone and email. You will be asked to provide photos or video of your home and will need a secure, private garden or yard (for a dog).

Step 4 - We will require a verbal reference from your veterinary practice as part of the rehoming process when prompted.

Step 5 - Initial cat viewings are either done via 'Zoom' or face to face pre-booked appointment in the cattery. Dog and Rabbit/Guinea pig viewings are by face to face pre-arranged appointments only.

Step 6 - Once all steps of the process have been completed and your application as a whole has been approved, you will be able to collect your new pet, by pre-arranged appointment, from the Brent Knoll Animal Centre. For cats you will be invited to meet them in person before doing the adoption paperwork if you have only me by zoom on the initial viewing.

Step 7 - If required, you will receive ongoing support from the Animal Centre following adoption.

If you can't find the pet you're looking for now, check back regularly to see if your perfect match has become available. Or visit Find a pet to view other animals in the RSPCA's care across England and Wales who are looking for a new home.

We thank you for your co-operation and hope that you all remain safe and well.
