Adopt an RSPCA animal

As restrictions gradually changes we will be following all guidlines as per government and DEFRA. We currently remain closed to general visitors and will continue with our remote rehoming system which has been very successful.

Our phone line at RSPCA Brent Knoll Animal Centre is answered between 11am and 1pm DAILY - 01278 782671.

We continue food/litter sales - to enquire about either of these please where possible continue to email us at or message us directly on Facebook (RSPCA North Somerset Branch). We can then take payment and arrange a time for you to collect from our main gates.

We have been pleased to be able to rehome animals through the pandemic using our new adapted process and we will continue to do so. Please click on the link and carefully read the current adoption process. The animals featured on our website are the only ones we are currently looking to find homes for. This is a very different system and will need a careful and detailed approach.

Currently we are continuing with cat viewings using Zoom. Dog and rabbit viewings can now take place in person outside by prior application and appointment.

If you have animal welfare concerns, please call our national cruelty line for advice: 0300 1234 999. If you have a badly injured stray or wild animal please call your local vet for advice. Please do not attend a vet practice without calling first.

This is an incredibly difficult time for us across the RSPCA and we appreciate your ongoing support. We thank you for your co-operation and hope that you all remain safe and well.

***Please click the link for information on pet care during the coronavirus outbreak. Remember these are precautionary measures and there is currently no evidence that pets can spread coronavirus or become unwell.

Before they are re-homed, all of our animals are health checked, neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated (where appropriate).

If you can't find the pet you're looking for now, check back regularly to see if your perfect match has become available. Or visit Find a pet to view other animals in the RSPCA's care across England and Wales who are looking for a new home.
