Jasmine first came to Millbrook underweight and suffering with bad skin. After lots of TLC Jasmine is now ready to find her forever home.

Once Jasmine knows you, she absolutely loves a fuss and a cuddle and she will even push her luck to sneak you in a kiss. When Jasmine first came to Millbrook she did not like being handled at all. After months of work, her carers can now happily handle Jasmine and check her all over. This may take a new owner some time to achieve as she will need to become comfortable with them first. Jasmine is still worried by a veterinary environment so will need an owner that understands this and is willing to put work in to help build her confidence and have an understanding vet.

Jasmine has not had much experience with children. When offsite, Jasmine was worried by a smaller child and did bark. Due to her being an older girl now, we feel it is best that she live in an adult only home, with no residing or visiting young children.

Jasmine is best walked in quiet areas and where dogs won't be off lead. She isn't keen on rude dogs or dogs in her face. She can happily walk past other dogs, but at a distance. For this reason, she will need to stay on the lead when out in public (She can be strong on the lead) Jasmine is looking for a large fully enclosed garden with 6ft fencing, so that she can have off lead play. The most important thing to Jasmine is being able to play with her toys in the garden so a nice garden is a must. She would then be happy with a couple of road walks a day, as she is still quite an active lady.

Jasmine will need a refresher on house training and car travel. She will need someone who is home often to begin with.

Jasmine is a fantastic dog and would make a lovely companion. She would love her own home to finally retire in. If you can give Jasmine the right home, then please send in an application form. As Jasmine is still under veterinary care by our vet, this will be a foster to adopt.
