We are a Branch of the RSPCA raising money locally to support our animal welfare work.
Our branch is run by a Committee of locally elected volunteers who are responsible for the management and administration of the Branch's affairs.
The London South East Branch of the RSPCA covers the following wide area: Abbey Wood, Bermondsey, Blackheath, Brixton, Brockley, Brockwell Park, Camberwell, Catford, Clapham, Deptford, Dulwich, Eltham, Greenwich, Herne Hill, Grove Park and Mottingham, Honor Oak, Kennington, Lambeth, Lewisham, New Cross, Peckham, Plumstead. Rotherhithe, Surrey Quays, Stockwell, Streatham, Sydenham North, Thamesmead, West Norwood, Woolwich and Vauxhall.
We have our own charity number (212444) and are manned at a local level purely by unpaid volunteers. Our aim is to help the animals in our area in any way that funds and our own volunteer time allow. We do our best to rehome abandoned and mistreated animals, and, when funds allow, we foster such animals.
We aim to help towards the treatment of any animal covered by our area where the owner cannot afford it, as well as promoting microchipping, low cost vaccinations, neutering and offering general advice on animal welfare.
