How we help animals on the island
Godshill Animal Centre
RSPCA Isle of Wight branch provides support for our islands most vulnerable animals at our animal centre in Godshill. Established in the 1950's we are situated between Godshill and Rookley, the centre lies at the Junction of Merstone Lane on the A3054.
Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers provides daily care and welfare for domestic, farm and wild animals. We re-unite lost animals with their concerned owners and find new, loving homes for for every healthy adoptible animal and rehabilitate and release wild animals which are 100% releasable.
Our branch is an independently registered island based charity and we rely soley on the generosity of our local community to delivery our critical animal care. We partner with the RSPCA Inspectorate team to support the those animals most in need.
Opening Times- Tuesday-Sunday 11am-4pm last viewings 3.30pm (Closed MONDAYS & Bank holidays)
Our branch also has 6 charity shops on the island and these generate crucial funds which enable us to carry out our animal welfare work.
