How to Adopt

To register your interest in offering a home to one of our animals, the first step is to complete an adoption application.

Please note that preference will be given to home's within a 30 mile radius of our branch.

Apply online:

Cat/Kitten Adoption   Dog/Puppy Adoption   Rabbit Adoption   Small Animal Adoption

If you would prefer to submit a manual application, either pick up a form from our Hillingdon Clinic or give us a call on 01895 833417 and we can send out a form by post.

If you live in rented accommodation, please look into getting a letter from your landlord or the council giving you permission to have the total number of animals that you will have including this adoption, as we will need to have a copy before we can reserve an animal for you.

Once your form is received, we will contact you within a few days regarding your application, and if we currently have animals that may be suitable for you, will arrange a viewing appointment. Please note that we are not an open centre and visits to our homing facility are by appointment only, following receipt of an application. Sometimes, for popular breeds, puppies and kittens, we receive many applications, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be able to home the animal you apply for. Our priority is to find the most appropriate home for each of our animals and in doing so, many factors about the circumstances of the animal and potential adopter must be taken into account, so please bear with us while we find the perfect match for you.

Your viewing appointment is an opportunity for you and other family members to meet our animals and for us to meet you and understand your expectations of the pet you would like to welcome into your home. If we are all happy with a proposed match, you can place a reserve on the relevant animal(s) and the next step will be to arrange a home visit. If we do not currently have exactly what you are looking for, we are happy to retain your details and contact you again if a suitable pet becomes available.

Following successful completion of a home visit for a reserved animal, we will contact you to confirm and discuss collection arrangements, which will also be by appointment only.

Adoption fees are payable by cash / card on collection.

Thank you for considering offering a home and lifelong love and care to one of our needy animals.  We hope we are able match you to your ideal companion and can look forward to meeting you soon.

For further information / queries call 01895 833417 or email rspca@rspcahillingdonclinic.org.uk but please note that we are not able to progress any interest prior to receipt of an adoption application form.
