We would like to introduce you to Maxine. She arrived in our care after being removed from a multi-animal household. Though initially fearful of people, Maxine's confidence has been able to slowly grow during the day with the assistance of our cattery staff.
Maxine is quite cautious during the day time and chooses to stay hidden away where she feels safe, often being in her outside igloo. When we spend time with her she is still very reserved and cautious, however she quite enjoys treats and we have been able to gradually gain her trust. After some time she is now out of the igloo and accepting of a fuss and will roll around on laps given time.
Maxine currently has a bit of a sensitive stomach. This is common to see with cats moving from one environment to another so we are currently working to settle it, this can be discussed further with potential adopters if a special diet is needed in the future.
Due to her nervousness and not liking sudden movements or noises, we are looking for an adult only and pet free home so that she has a quiet environment to settle at her own pace.
The cost to adopt this animal is #85.
