HOW TO ADOPT FROM BATH CATS & DOGS HOME

We’re an independent branch of the RSPCA, so please head to our website to find out more about our adoption process, and to use our application form.

Edie is a striking lady with a big personality and even bigger opinions! She is a friendly feline who loves human company—on her own terms, of course. Edie is the kind of cat who will greet you warmly and happily settle on your lap… but she will also let you know when she’s had enough or if she’s disturbed from a cozy snooze. She's full of character and always keeps her carers entertained with her unusual quirks.

Edie can get easily overstimulated, especially during fuss or if there’s too much going on. Because of this, she would do best in a home with a predictable routine. Whilst Edie would settle into a home with outdoor access and like being the centre of attention, Edie could also suit living in a semi Farm cat style environment.

Edie comes from a rural background surrounded by fields, where she loved to roam and hunt mice. She has little road sense, so a quiet countryside home would be ideal—especially one where she can come and go as she pleases. A home where she’s looked after and welcome inside, but not pressured to be overly interactive all the time, would be perfect.

If you have a peaceful rural home and a spot in your heart (and maybe on your lap) for a bold, quirky cat with a love of the outdoors, please keep Edie in mind—she might just be the perfect addition to your life.

To stop her wandering back near her old home, Edie cannot be rehomed to some areas in Radstock.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I'd prefer to be outside most of the time
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I'm full of energy and love to play
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
