Leaps and Bounds
On 4 October 2011 we launched our Leaps and Bounds appeal to raise £3 million in just one year, to build the country's first ever flagship RSPCA animal centre and hospital in Birmingham. It's a big task, but there's an even bigger need.
Despite the best efforts of our dedicated team, the current Birmingham Animal Centre and Hospital at Barnes Hill is struggling to meet the demands it faces in helping these poor animals.
The new 42,000 sq foot development in Frankley, Birmingham, will be the only facility in the country with the ability to deliver all that the RSPCA aspires to, from rescue and remedy through to rehabilitation and rehoming.
Taking part in our Leaps and Bounds appeal means you’ll help create a centre which will house a state-of-the-art animal hospital, cattery, kennels, isolation unit, small animals unit, exercise area and an education and training centre.
We need your help to make this happen
Stage and screen actor Adam Rickitt is leading our challenge, but we need your help to make this happen.
We need to make a real difference to the lives of these poor animals, and with you alongside us we know we can make it!
