NIMBUS AND ARCHIE

About Me

Breed: Chinchilla
Colour: White and Grey
Age: 9 Years (approx)
Ref: CH3681

Archie and Nimbus came into our care through no fault of their own, and are now on the search for the perfect forever home. Chinchilla’s are a specialist pet to care for and require lot’s of space and understanding.
Archie (white) is the most confident of the boys, and enjoys chatting to us and having strokes on his own terms. Archie will take any opportunity to explore out of his accommodation and really thrives during free-roam time in a safe and secure room. Nimbus (grey) can be more reserved at times but has begun to show us his gentle character and will follow his brother for reassurance. Nimbus appreciates his own space but will enjoy being hand fed his favourite treats and also loves free-roam time to jump and explore. Both boys are an absolute delight to care for.
Due to their timid nature as a prey-species, we would like to find a home where everyone in the household is teenager age and over. Nimbus and Archie have previously had interactions with children and were very worried by them. The boys must stay together and live away from any other pet’s so they can feel safe and secure at all times.
Our minimum size requirement for a pair of Chinchilla’s is at least 12sqft in a configuration suited to their natural jumping behaviours. Our team would be happy to help you design the perfect home they boys need and deserve.
Rehoming any pet should be a considered process, and we’re here to help with knowledge and guidance should you have any questions.
