The RSPCA Stockport, East Cheshire & West Derbyshire branch (charity number 226284) is a long-standing local arm of the national RSPCA, officially registered on 19 September 1963. 

Operating as volunteer-run organisation, the branch is overseen by a committee of locally elected trustees who guide its management and fundraising efforts. 

Throughout its history, the branch has focused on rescuing and rehoming cats and dogs, providing financial aid to people in hardship for neutering and veterinary treatment, and promoting responsible pet ownership through microchipping and neutering campaigns.
