Adopt an animal
If you have room in your home and life to give a second chance to one of our animals, why not talk to us about the possibility of adopting. We have plenty of animals available for adoption.
Become a Trustee
We are looking for a number of enthusiastic and passionate people who can offer their time to volunteer as a trustee for our RSPCA Shropshire Branch. Ideally you will have some experience in charity or business management, in areas such as finance, governance, fundraising, HR, health and safety, or animal welfare. We have various roles available, including positions as Treasurer or Secretary.
You will join a committee of trustees responsible for the management and governance of the Branch. We are a small and hands-on team and we would like to welcome new trustees to help us expand our activities.
This opportunity will give you the chance to influence the future of our Branch, and how we use our resources. You will serve on the governing body of the charity and be instrumental, alongside fellow trustees, in the running of the Branch and setting out both the short and long term aims.
As a minimum, trustees would normally be expected to attend a monthly committee meeting lasting around 2 hours. However, the commitment may vary depending on whether or not the trustee takes on additional duties.

Volunteer
We need new volunteers to help us protect animals in Shropshire. If you have a few hours a month or more to spare, you could join our team. There are various ways you could help, and at the moment we especially need people to help us with -
- Social Media Coordniator - an important new role to help us manage our social media accounts and share information on animal welfare and the work of the Branch
- Home Visits
- Fundraising
- Animal fosterer (small animals or cats)

Become a Member
We always welcome new members. If you'd like to become a member you can sign up here: Membership. Make sure you tick to say that you'd like to join your local Branch, and you can also tick to receive our email updates.
Fundraising activities can be big or small - from organising a recycling drive at your school or holding a coffee morning in your office – you could raise more than you think!
Get in touch if you would be interested in making a donation, or signing up to make regular donations to RSPCA Shropshire Branch.
If you would be interested in trying a challenge event such as running a marathon, please contact us. We'd also love to hear from you if you have any other ideas about supporting the work we do.
We currently have lots of cats in our care and on our waiting list, we have set up an Amazon wish list (link below) and would be so grateful for any food donations.
