Adopt an RSPCA animal

As a result of the current COVID-19 lockdown we are officially closed to the public, and all rehoming activity has stopped.  These will hopefully be temporary measures and we will be reviewing this decision regularly based on government guidance.

Please note our dogs are now cared for and re-homed at the RSPCA animal home on Landing Lane in York. There is no need to make an appointment.  Please follow the link below to the RSPCA York, Harrogate & District website which gives more information about the adoption procedure.   https://www.rspca-yorkhome.org.uk/adoption-process.php - You can also view the dogs in their care as well.

The York animal home is open from 11am to 3pm Mondayto Wednesday and Friday to Sunday and there is no need to make an appointment to see the dogs.  Please visit the animal home to see the dogs in their care. Once you have chosen a dog, a home visit will be arranged.

The address of the animal home is:
Landing Lane
YORK
YO26 4RH

If you can't find the pet you're looking for now, check back regularly to see if your perfect match has become available. Or visit Find a pet to view other animals in the RSPCA's care across England and Wales who are looking for a new home.
