About Newport Animal Centre
The RSPCA Newport Animal Centre is in the city of Newport, South Wales and is within easy reach of the M4 just off Junction 24.
We are a small centre that has a dedicated animal care team that rehabiltate and rehome dogs and cats. All the animals currently available for rehoming you will see on 'Find a pet' page of the RSPCA website. There you will find profiles of our animals and if you are interested in a specific animal, please complete the online application form at the bottom of the animals description.
VIEWING OF ANIMALS - For improved animal welfare, visitors are no longer able to walk around the centre without a prior appointment. Appointment visits are arranged only as part of the adoption application process.
SHOP & RECEPTION - Our reception has a small shop selling a variety of pet equipment such as harnesses, collars, leads, bowls, and litter trays. We also stock a great selection of enrichment items that can help prevent stress and boredom. We also have a limited range of animal food. Please think of us if you need to buy items for your new adopted pet - all the proceeds go straight back into the centre to help raise funds to help the animals in our care.
Reception is open daily 11am - 3pm (CLOSED ALL DAY WEDNESDAY)
We are open for visitors to visit our shop and reception. Here you can make enquires, and donate. If unsure on what to donate, please don't hesitate to call us on 0300 123 0744.
