About Me

Breed: Dwarf
Colour: Black
Age: 5 Years (approx)
Ref: 0794

Sooty is a very special chap looking for a very special home. He's a small confident rabbit with a huge personality.  He loves to explore, and needs plenty of space and entertainment.

Sooty is very friendly with people, he rushes to greet you and will happily give you a good sniff, come up to see what you're doing and take food from your hand.  He's not particularly keen on being stroked, so is looking for a home where this isn't a requirement. Sooty is interested in other rabbits, but doesn't want to live with one.  After several attempts with various rabbits we have been unable to bond him, which may be due to his background of being kept in a small hutch with another rabbit with whom he fought.

We feel that he could live happily as single rabbit if he has lots of enrichment and human company.  He may be able to live indoors in a suitable free range environment with someone at home to keep him company for a large part of the day.  He is very neat and only ever uses his litter tray.

He is used to cats so could live with a friendly cat who will not chase or bother him.

Alternatively, he would enjoy a spacious outdoor home with lots of enrichment and another rabbit in adjacent accommodation for company.  Your enclosure must been a minimum of 3x2x1m (but bigger is better), permanently attached to a weatherproof hutch minimum 6ft.
