Missy is a pretty, petite girl who didn’t have the best start in life. She was left to her own devices when her owners moved away and left her behind. Someone took pity on her and fed her, but Missy and their cat didn’t get along, so Missy was kept in a room on her own for about a year.
Being in our cattery is a real challenge for Missy. She is crying out for love and is desperate for fuss and attention. Missy will come to greet you when you approach her, and is very communicative, coming out to say hello. At the moment, once she receives fuss and attention, she can be temperamental and lash out. Due to this we have taken it back to basics and she is showing more of her calm side which we are continuously working with.
Missy needs an experienced, adult only home, where she can be given time, space and confidence to blossom and build up trust with humans again. Missy needs to be able to get out into the great outdoors, roam around and have more control over her environment so that her frustration can be managed.
