About Me

Breed: French Lop
Colour: Fawn
Age: 2 Years (approx)

French Lop Magda is approximately 2 years old and weighs in just under 5kgs! She has the most curious and gentle character and her massive ears are so long that she brushes the floor with them while pottering about. Magda was rescued from an unlicensed breeder, many of the rabbits were in such poor condition that they could not be saved, but happily our girl is in sound health and mind.

Magda's  second favourite hobby (first being sleeping) is to dig and shred her cardboard box (simple pleasures!). After all the exercise she likes to flop anywhere she happens to be in the pen, usually in a big pile of hay and using her big dewlap as a pillow. Being a lop eared rabbit her hearing is not great, so you will have to make quite some noise when approaching her if she is fast asleep to not spook her.

Magda is a very gentle rabbit and seems to live alongside her bunny neighbours with no drama, but beware! She loves her greens and will eagerly snatch them from your hands if you are not fast enough!

Magda will need a home with plenty of space and will benefit from having the company of a neutered male rabbit to snuggle up with. We can offer a free bonding scheme to support you to do this, contact us for more info.

If you would like to give Magda a home then please complete the adoption form here.

My personality

  • I may be able to live with a male rabbit
  • I'd be happy living indoors if you give me lots to do
  • I could live with children of primary school age
  • I'm independent - I like my own space
