Argento is a boar around 12 months of age, who was brought to us along with several other guinea pigs from a property where they were being kept in small, filthy pet carriers. When the boys arrived with us they were all very shy (and smelly!), but after a few weeks of good care, proper diet, and a couple of hair cuts, the boys have blossomed into gorgeous, hunky chunks!
Argento is the most confident of the piggy crop currently in our care, and is always the first to wheek demandingly when he hears the fridge door open! He quickly trots over to the bars to stand on his hind legs and hurry us along if we're too slow with the greens!
Argento has been castrated and wants to live with a female piggy, or group of girls in a large indoor set up (ie C&C). For the next three weeks until his hormones settle he will need to live in a separate (but side-by-side) enclosure before face to face bonding begins. We can provide bonding support and a step by step bonding guide to do this. We can also provide full care support and housing guidance, just get in touch! adoptions@rspca-manchesterandsalford.org.uk
If you would like to offer Argento a home please check out more info on our website and complete the adoption form found here:
