Winter’s Journey — Now Called Summer Winter was rescued by our RSPCA inspectors after it was discovered she had a severe leg deformity. It wasn’t known whether her leg had been fractured and left untreated, or if she had been born that way — but sadly, it needed to be amputated.During her recovery, Winter was placed in a loving foster home where she received the care, comfort, and patience she needed to heal. Once she was fully recovered and ready for her next chapter, she was lucky enough to be offered a permanent home with one of our very own inspectors.Now renamed Summer, she’s living her best life — happy, healthy, and loved.
