About us
Our branch has been the largest investor in animal care within the Hull and East Riding region for over 100 years. In 1938 our rescue centre was officially opened by Lady Atkinson on Clough Road, and we have continued to carry out our vital work on this site ever since.
We have a newly built 1-million-pound 30 dog kennels and a 16-pod cattery at our Animal Rescue Centre on Clough Road. This supports us in caring for and rehabilitating the most vulnerable animals in our region, which are brought to us by the National RSPCA Inspectors. Our animal rescue centre units are always at capacity, which shows how vital it is, not only to find every animal in our care a special forever home, but also for us to fulfil our mission in educating the local community about the work we do. By showing people what animals need to lead a comfortable and fulfilled life, we hope to reduce cruelty and promote kindness towards animals both locally and nationally.
If you would like to support the vital work we do for our animals, please visit our Suport Us Page to find out more about how you can help.
