Guildford and Epsom Branch

Proactive volunteers always appreciated

We rely on volunteers across a range of roles, including:

  • driving animals to veterinary appointments
  • fostering animals
  • helping at our fundraising events
  • creating social media posts and website content.

We feel particularly fortunate to have two extremely proactive volunteers, Lorna and Trasna. They are fabulous volunteers who have raised large sums of money for local animal welfare through a range of self-devised activities such as:

  • making and selling of woollen catnip mice
  • selling items at car boot sales, fetes and via Facebook
  • making and selling dog beds.

All year around Lorna and Trasna use their skill to fundraise for us, and spread the word of our work through the people they come into contact with.

If, like Lorna and Trasna, you have a skillset that you could put into action on our behalf, please do get in touch, we would love to hear from you.

Lorna often needs wool donations to make the mice. If you have any wool to donate, or if you would like to purchase some catnip mice, please contact us
