How you can help us

How You Can Help Us Help the Animals:

Much of the hospital’s work is caring for animals who do not have an owner and so we do not receive any payment for the treatment we provide. There is no NHS for pets, so all the treatment we give comes from the kind donations we receive from member’s of the public.

We are very grateful for any donations that people are able to make. These can be made to the national RSPCA who pay for the running costs of the hospital, or you can make a donation directly to the hospital, by sending a cheque made payable to the RSPCA Finsbury Park Animal Hospital and posted to Mrs Claire Hague at the hospital (see contact details).

In addition, our owned animal work is heavily subsidised in order to provide a lower-cost veterinary service. Our customers' payments for treatment do not cover the full costs involved.

We also urge all pet owners to ensure that their pets are neutered, as we care for many strays and unwanted animals who have found themselves in serious situations and required rescuing by the RSPCA as they did not have a responsible owner.

If you own a pet we strongly recommend pet insurance. There is no NHS for pets and so treatments can be costly. We can only provide a subsidised service to clients who meet our eligibility criteria and even then are not able to offer specialist services or referral options.
